my house's progress

The tiling has completed in both toilets, living room, bomb shelter and kitchen. Now waiting for electrician to be confirmed. Plumber has completed his work on fixing the shower mixer in both toilets. Aircon man has completed his routing of the water pipes. Pending for electrical, false ceiling, parquet for the rooms and choosing the laminates and painting. Target to complete by end May.

Last wkend, we have spent a total of $2176 on kitchen and toilets accesories. This is excluding common toilet bowl. If only HDB gives us a white toilet bowl.

Been shopping around for electrical appliances like hood+hod; washing machines; fridge and oven. Have changed our mind to microwave instead of oven. Phew!!wasnt easy shopping on these and getting the cheapest deal in SG. Cheapest electrical shop is in Tampines

Also went shopping for lights. Balestier & Jln Besar have been our shopping place these 2 wkends.

tough decision

Been over a wk plus since i last update on the blog. Well, what was I doing, going to hotel to check out their wedding package, get feedbacks fr frens and colls. I noe i mayb frickle..but i oso want to choose the hotel i like with many factors. Now these are my factors :
1. High Ceiling Ballrooms or nice ballroom
2. Location
3. Fit at least about 30 tables
4. Wedding Favours
5. Bridal Suite
6. Wine per table each
7. Food
So now down with 2 choices. Swissotel Merchant Court(5 Star) and Grand Park Royal (4 Star). Today tour to the Grand Park Royal, was so tempted to take it up, cos the bridal suite has an own jacuzzi. I know i wont hv time to deep inside. Still a nice feeling to have. Although the march in ll be short and ballroom is small. But the lightings are not too bag as compared to Grand Cop.

ROM - 7 JUL 2007

Registered for the ROM last night, heard that the Registra of Marriage opened till 12MN to cater to the crowd who want to marry on this hot popular date. Even my JP told me that he is solemnizing 7 couples on that day and even dropped me a mail to inform him if there is any changes. As this date is rather hot in demand for marriages. Luckily we didnt think of having it at Fort Canning else, we would hv to queue with others to fight for a slot. It was fully booked at Fort Canning when we register also. As for our actual date of customary marriage, has yet firmed up the date, but most likely in Feb 2008.

Received a call from Conrad Hotel last night, to ask if i was still interested in their wedding package. I was surprised that they will push for sale on a Sat night, considering it's a 5 Star Deluxe Hotel. Anyway, the date we wanted in Conrad Hotel is taken. Too bad....

sitting here in accenture

Hmph, it's 1045pm, posting my blog now in accenture while RD's working, finishing his last bit of work. Went viewing of lights at balestier & jln besar. More or less fixed on some lights for the room and living. Just looking to bargain down wif the light guy. Also went to look at some sofa and dinning set. Wont need too many furniture for the start as we wont have many guests. The total electricial charges for fixing our house points and rewiring caused up to 3K plus. That's alot...Currently that is on hold till we manage to find a electrician that is able to charge us cheaper

started running

first start to train JP, went running on last Wed at opp Stadium with some colls. Ran& walk 1.6km wif my new nike tank top. Was a good start, however my legs started aching on Thurs. I neva seemed to be able to run long distance. Will tend to have stitches on my left side of tummy. Well at least i get started. Will run frequently, next target is to run at Bedok Reservoir.

happy easter

Got some easter eggiess choc...from yc after dinner wif him on Thur...On easter day, drove to woodlands church with cousins while mum n rest of my aunts went ahead first, couldnt wake up in time. Driving to woodlands for super far, furthermore, I didnt know the directions to that place that well. Even though my cousin gave me some directions to follow. It wasnt helpful at all. Easter service was short and sweet. The church was fully packed even up on the fourth storey.

In the afternoon, brought the boyz to east coast for cycling while i blade. Was pretty convenient with a car, driving down to east coast from punggol. Phew..managed to find a lot after 5mins of wait. Was super crowded, cdnt really blade as the younger boy cant cycle straight. Had to go change to a 4 wheels bicycle for him, he felt embarrassed to ride on it and beg me to let him cycle 2 wheels. Hmph, not easy trying to handle 2 kids alone and whatmore with my blades on..Of cos, the unexperienced young one, caused me to fall on my butt and hurt my wrist. Argh....and was suppose to meet my frenz later at St James, but it didnt happen as I cdnt drive too far....

busy sundae & rush mondae

On Sun - started the day having TimSum at DragonGate restaurant with RD's frens. Skipped church to look at toilet stuffs. Lotsa to buy and choose fr a wide variety. Manage to shortlisted a few after going to Jln Besar, Balestier and IMM. Too many to be listed.

On Mon - rush down to get shower mixer for the room since this will be required for the plumber tomorrow. For now, we have purchased all required for both toilets and kitchen tap all bought. Lacking of kitchen & toilet sinks /toilet bowls/shower head for common/hood and hob/spray jet for floor. Hv spent 860 for what we bought today. More to come. Also went down to look at some lightings. Saw a nice crystal lights..the price is steep...about 830 after discount.
